Kwankwasiyya Scholars Assembly (KSA)

About the Kwankwasiyya Scholars Assembly (KSA)

Our Origin

The Kwankwasiyya Scholars Assembly (KSA) is a dynamic community of indigenes of Kano State who have been awarded scholarships under the visionary education initiative of His Excellency, Engr. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Since its inception, the Kwankwaso Scholarship Scheme has empowered hundreds of young Kanoites to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies in prestigious institutions across Nigeria and around the world — including the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Turkey, Sudan, and more.

Our Mission

  • To foster academic excellence among Kano State indigenes.
  • To build a network of ethical, skilled, and service-oriented leaders.
  • To promote unity, mentorship, and community development among scholars.
  • To uphold the Kwankwasiyya legacy of transformative education and public service.

The Kwankwasiyya Vision

“Investing in education is the surest way to build a prosperous and equitable society. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and lead.”
— His Excellency, Engr. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso

Governance

The KSA is organized into cohorts (e.g., KSA-2020, KSA-2023), each led by a Cohort Administrator. The Assembly is overseen by a central administrative team comprising Super Administrators and Administrators who ensure data integrity, platform security, and community engagement.
